Hy Mayerson, Esquire, Of Counsel

Hy MayersonHy Mayerson has practiced law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for more than 50 years. After graduating from Temple University School of Law in 1963, Hy embarked upon a storied legal career which has earned him national recognition through, among other things, his prominent role in the first Agent Orange class action filed in Pennsylvania, his pursuit of justice for victims of forklift accidents throughout the United States, and his pioneering use of videotaped depositions in civil litigation.

Hy has litigated cases in more than 40 jurisdictions across the United States. Local counsel throughout the nation routinely sought, and continue to seek Hy’s assistance in forklift injury cases and recognize him as a national authority. Hy conducted more than 200 depositions of forklift manufacturers. His efforts contributed to the implementation of better driver restraint systems as well as amplified warnings of the risk of forklift rollovers.

Throughout his career, Hy has been driven by a desire to see reasonable compensation delivered to those wrongfully injured and a recognition of the significant harm those injuries can inflict upon injured individuals and their families. Hy is now called upon to consult on complex civil liability and litigation matters undertaken by Mayerson Injury Law.
